Children’s Birthday Party – Choose a Theme!
Children’s Birthday Parties include an art project led by a JAC instructor. Choose a theme and we’ll do the rest! Themes are:
Owls
Create a unique owl mask out of recycled materials and decorate it any way you’d like using paint, markers, glitter and paper feathers!
Sea Life
Create a beautiful diorama full of colorful shells while learning all about the different plants and animals that live in our ocean! Fun and educational!
Fairies
Spend some time collecting natural materials like sticks, stones and leaves in the nearby park, and return to the JAC to build your very own Fairy House!
Dragons
Create colorful little dragons out of recycled materials that can sit on your shoulder or breathe fire, and decorate your dragon any way you’d like!
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
This party’s all about transportation: draw and build cars, trucks, planes or boats using cardboard and other fun recycled materials!
Colors of the Rainbow
Take part in fun and arty games that explore the many ranges of colors we see every day, and make a cool piece of artwork to take home, too!

“Thank you so much for making Piper’s birthday so special… All of the children had a wonderful time and Piper will cherish the experience for years to come.” – Sherry Flaherty, Jamestown Resident
“The performance was astounding, outstanding, inspiring, engaging, and a multitude of wonderful adjectives!!!! Everyone was so blessed to be there to hear it.” – Polly Hutcheson, Heifetz on Tour audience member
“Driving by JAC one morning, I was literally flagged down by Kate and Vivi who were enthusiastically promoting some of the great fall programming. They convinced me to sign up for Cafe Clay, which, as a non-artist, I did mostly to support my friends and the JAC. Little did I know how much I would LOVE this class, and how surprised I would be at what I could create!”
“We love the Jamestown Art Center. It’s such a part of our lives, part of what anchors and fulfills us in so many ways, that I can’t imagine a time when it wasn’t there!” – Justin Morris, South County Resident
