The Jamestown Arts Center (JAC) will screen five short documentary films from the 2015 Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) on Thursday November 19th at its Third Thursday short film series. Total runtime of the show 90 minutes.

The 414s (12 minutes) Directed by Michael T. Vollmann. A group of Milwaukee teenagers gained notoriety in 1983 when they broke into dozens of high-profile computer systems and becoming the original computer hackers. More info: www.the414s.com

Annie (31 m.) Directed by Matthew Daunt. From the U.K. The ups and downs of the life of Rhode Islander Anmarie Spaziano, who settles in Nottingham, U.K. and opens a popular restaurant with the “best burgers in the world.” More info: www.lmmg.tv

Dance of the Infants (9 m.) Directed by Javier Dampierre and Jokin Pascual. From Spain. A moving look at the annual running-of-the-bulls in San Fermin in Pamplona, Spain, and the communal celebrating by all ages.

Elgin Park (10 m.) Directed by Danny Yourd. A reclusive artist turned viral sensation, Michael Paul Smith, creates 1950s utopias out of pain, love and miniature cars. More inf: www.animaleast.com

Riding My Way Back (28 m.) Directed by Robin Fryday and Peter Rosenbaum. A soldier’s journey from the brink of despair and suicide, through the building of mutual trust with a horse named Fred, and in turn helping others heal through the power of human/animal connection. Film evening begins at 7:00pm. Suggested donation $10 at the door.
