FirstWorks and the Jamestown Arts Center present a screening of family-focused short films selected from Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams, along with accompanying hands-on activities for children ages 7 and up.
Handmade Puppet Dreams showcases independent puppeteers who use film to explore live-action puppetry. This program is part of a residency FirstWorks is holding with Heather Henson’s IBEX Puppetry January 28 – February 1, 2019. IBEX Puppetry is dedicated to promoting the fine art of puppetry in all of its various mediums and nurturing work for a myriad of venues. IBEX projects include Handmade Puppet Dreams, The Puppet Slam Network, The Orlando Puppet Festival, and environmental spectacles.
