Jamestown Alliance for Artist Sustainability presents the Jamestown Open Studio Tour
The fourth annual open studio tour of Jamestown artists’ studios and workspaces will be held on Saturday July 29th from 9am to 4pm. Twenty artists will participate at twenty two different locations throughout Jamestown. Visit these artists and watch the behind the scenes techniques they utilize to create magnificent works of art which will be for sale at their studios. Visitors can pick up a map at the Jamestown Arts Center, 18 Valley Street, where ceramic and printmaking artists will be working. The following artists will be participating: Jillian Barber, Shirley Bell, Lisa Barsumian, Jen Black, Jennifer and David Clancy, Peter Diepenbrock, Carol Gates, Jamestown Arts Center, Alex Kent, Pat King, Deb Lichtenstein, Jane McNally Wright, Julie Munafo, Out of the Box Gallery, Elaine Porter, Ernie Savastano, Chris Smeraldi, Rene Stawicki, Didi Suydam, and Josy Wright. In addition, numerous artists will have their work on display at Bridges’ Out of the Box Studio and store.
The studio tour is organized by the Jamestown Alliance for Artist Sustainability (JAAS) that has a free and open membership, and seeks to help create an environment that supports and sustains the artist community in Jamestown.
