What is the role of the arts in education? Are our schools preparing our children for the world they’ll live in? What could school be if we re-imagined its purpose? How urgent is this issue for Jamestown, for Rhode Island, and for the United States?
For a thought-provoking evening centered on these defining issues, join us on July 6th at 7pm at JAC. We’ll start by watching the Sundance-acclaimed documentary Most Likely to Succeed. Then, over great food and drinks, we’ll have a wide-ranging discussion about the future of our schools, our children, and our country. Joining us will be Jamestown resident Ted Dintersmith, the Executive Producer of Most Likely to Succeed, who can share with us insights from his recent fifty-state campaign to call attention to the urgency of re-imagining school.
Executive Producer/ Jamestowner Ted Dintersmith
