Soulshot Concert

The Jamestown Arts Center is pleased to announce a performance by Soulshot, one of the area’s best reggae bands, on Saturday, March 7 from 7 – 9pm. The band is composed of veterans of the music scene including: David “Daveydread” Turano on bass, Sean Acker on lead guitar, Tom Perrotti on rhythm guitar, Rob Liguori on tenor sax, Grayson Farmer on trumpet, Mark Berney on trumpet, Kyle Bagley on trombone, Dion Knibb vocals, Ken Stewart on keyboards, Krys Jackson on drums and Zeke Carlson on percussion. Formed in 2003 by the remnants of the popular band, Dub Squad, the band’s veteran players have lengthy and impressive portfolios, the most notable that of Ken Stewart who has spent over 20 years as keyboardist and manager of the world famous Skatalites. Soulshot has played at the Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica alongside the likes of Lionel Ritchie, The O’Jays, Chicago, Maxi Priest and many more legends in their field. The night promises a lighthearted evening in the intimate setting of the JAC’s gallery space, the perfect place to kick back or dance the night away to the lively reggae music of Soulshot.
