The Jamestown Arts Center invites one and all to an afternoon with 3 Rhode Island Poets Laureate. Join former Poets Laureate Tom Chandler and Lisa Starr, and current RI Poet Laureate Rick Benjamin for an afternoon with “The Three Amigos.” The event is part of a year-round tour by the poets who’ve been performing monthly in different locations around the state. Inspiring and uplifting, playful and profound—Tom, Lisa and Rick will remind you why for thousands of years, people have turned to poetry when their hearts are broken, or overjoyed, or both. Join us for light refreshments and an afternoon of camaraderie and compassion as we enter the holiday season.
